Visual Kitchen is an audiovisual arts factory with many faces. What began as a collective evolved into a hub in a network of collaborations. Visual Kitchen draws its knowledge from a long track record of veejaying and performing, from the cool backrooms to the sweaty masses. As a production company, Visual Kitchen produces music videos, live shows, commercials and co-organizes audiovisual live events. On an artistic level, Visual Kitchen takes part in the organisation of the Cimatics festival, promotes vj's and collaborates with a variety of progressive musicians, ranging from visuals for Marc Moulin to performing a Stockhausen piece.

Cimatics Festival
Brussels International Audiovisual Arts and Vj-ing festival: We've been involved in the organisation and artistic planning of the Cimatics festival since its first edition in 2003. Cimatics is a platform to present, exchange and promote outstanding productions in the field of the audiovisual performance, vj-ing and interactive installations. Through Cimatics we're in touch with a community of audiovisual artists who give proof of original content and artistic value. With Cimatics we produce compilation dvds, organize screenings and performances, curate subprograms and book artists.

Multiply
As a logical step in our projects, we're starting a dvd label presenting the fruits of our network, collaborations and projects. We aim to release thematical compilations as well as artist-dedicated or collaborative projects and special limited edition series. The Zero-release, Moving Motions, is an eclectic compilation of belgian artists from the audiovisual field featuring belgian audiovisual performance pioneers as well as the new kids on the block. It will only be available as a tool for the cimatics platform to promote belgian artists abroad. Currently we're producing the first official release with work by Graphreak and Playing Here.

The Massive Central
The Massive Central is a new collaborative project we've started with several friends - dj's and vj's. The Massive Central is all about having a night of straightforward fun with some of the secrets the capital has been breeding these last few years: dj's that aim for the legs through the ears, vj's that aim for a smile through the eyes.

Locker 03
The Locker series is an installation project originally created by Eavesdropper. Together with Eaves, we've produced Locker03, a thirteen minute movie with a 5.1 surround soundtrack, available as a film or as an installation. It was commissioned by 'Galerie Jan Dhaese' and was released in a limited edition series of 50 numbered specially designed and packed copies. It is also available for festivals or events.
